Welcome to Gian Mauro Maneia website. 

I graduated in Aerospace Engineering at Politecnico di Torino (Italy)  presenting a master thesis about high altitude wind energy generation.

 

My passion for sailing also led me in the recent past to invent and apply for several patents related to sailmaking and sail design for Fiorenzi Marine Group Srl (ITALY).

I'm actually focusing on Computational Fluid Dynamics,Fluid Structure Interaction, Machine Tools and Advanced Materials. My passion drove me to undertake always more challenging research projects in the aerospace, naval and civil engineering fields, such as several recent FP7 funded projects.
